Launch Kontakt, either as standalone or as plugin.Install the Momentary_Keyswitches.nkp file here: user/documents/Native Instruments/Kontakt/presets/Multiscripts.The scripting area is locked in this and other instruments, so a multiscript is the only way to fix these issues. This feature was inspired by NI Session Horns Pro, where the key switches are outside of the 88-key area and can’t be moved. The script also allows transposing of the key switches to move them to a desired area of the keyboard. This multi-script allows for 5 of these articulations to be momentary. Of course there are others out there, but I don’t own those nor ever tried them.In most key-switched instruments, there are basic articulations used for most notes, and “special” ones, such as bends, slurs, grace notes or swells that are rarely used for more than one note at a time. If you’re not too concerned with price, some recommend Sample Modeling Products for the ultimate realism in sounds.

Too bad you missed out on the recent Fanfare deal from Musician’s Friend for $29 - down from $400.

My two go-to libraries for single Sax & Trumpet are Embertone’s Sensual Sax & Chapman Trumpet, but I have just purchased ‘The Saxophones’ 4 pack from Sample Modeling, so it may take first place fairly soon. I wouldn’t say it’s my go-to horns library,, but I’m quite happy with it for $49.00, and have used it in a few songs now along side with Embertone’s Sensual Sax - the 2 work excellent together! Then with a bit of different velocity playing variations, it really came alive for me. I got N I’s Session Horns for $49 during the December sale,, and at first I was a bit underwhelmed until I choose some of the different articulations & presets.
