The town also has a beach area and a pier for houseboats. Part across the river has many fields, places for small farms and traditional Industrial area, modern district, modern suburb and old suburb.

Located in a valley of a small river flowing into the sea. Elmdale is created on a medium-sized map, with distant terrain from Twinbrook, or, to be exact, 3 of them rotated and placed in different positions to surround the town from all sides. I've been looking for a medium non-island, non-tropical world that has all types of areas and doesn't require all EPs for a very long time, but didn't manage to find one (well, all but the base game only worlds require at least WA), so, I decided to make one myself. Please let me know of any flaws or bugs you encounter so I can fix them for the next version of Pikelet Isle.It is the first world I've finished, and my main gaming world. With those specifications in mind and krrank's CAW guide at my fingertips I found it developing surprisingly smoothly and I quickly had a completed world on my hands. Out of personal preference, I decided that my building world would be mostly flat (for versatile lots), very small (because big spaces overwhelm me), base-game compatible (I want to share with as many people as possible) and brightly-coloured without being too obnoxious (because who doesn't like bright colours? ). I'm currently playing a Back to Basics/Going Solo challenge which means at the moment I'm using base game only content (with a tiny bit of stuff packs/store content and CC tossed in to spice things up a little bit)and don't plan to move on to adding any EPs until after I complete all the base game aspiration. After a number of catastrophic failures I had to dial back the hills and valleys to something I could actually do at a beginner's level, and that something was the empty building world I wanted when I first started playing The Sims 3.
